The waves become smaller and gentler, ideal for beginners and intermediates who want to practice in a more relaxed environment. The surf spots are less crowded and the mild weather makes for great surfing days.

Summer: Summer brings the calmest surfing conditions of the year in Morocco. The swells get smaller and many of the spots have significantly less wave energy. This time is particularly suitable for beginners. Advanced surfers may find smaller but fun waves at less crowded spots.

Autumn: Bigger swells are expected in Morocco and the surf season really kicks off in September.
